Anti-trust authorities across the EU have been encouraged to undertake more precise investigations in respect of the compliance with the anti-trust rules. The fines and penalties collected by the anti-trust authorities are one of the direct sources for the national budgets, which are at times of crisis thinner. Recent changes of the anti-trust law in the Czech Republic provide companies with a useful tool to face the danger of being fined. If a company presents evidence that it has done its best so its staff or representatives do not behave in breach of the anti-trust regulations, the authority may not impose the fine on the company but only on the individual employee or person, who committed the breach. Such evidence may be reports from professional training and educational meetings, which our law firm can prepare tailor-made for individual company and share our experience.
Our firm prepared a special program regarding company staff trainings focusing on the real business behavior. Our lawyers can also run a one day check and provide a client with an estimate of the danger of being fined for a breach of law in respect of compliance and anti-trust regulations. We are ready to represent individual client companies during the investigations run by the authorities and provide them with legal protection to the permissible extend. For more information on our services in this field please contact Mr. Bohuslav Matuška or our reception.
