Jan is a Czech lawyer, who worked, before establishing Ueltzhöffer Balada, as a senior associate for White & Case in Prague. He has extensive experience in real estate law and commercial law. He specializes as well in procedural and insolvency law. In the aforementioned fields of law he provided clients with legal advice concerning commercial and residential construction, realization of acquisitions and selling real estate projects. Jan prepares many real estate transactions for his clients in the form of direct acquisition of greenfield land plots or already completed projects, acquisition of real estate through acquisition of companies or transfer of an enterprise, as well as in the form of setting up joint ventures between investors and developers during construction. Most of the projects Jan advised on were large commercial real estate projects such as shopping centers and office complexes.
