Our strong international network of partner law firms is based on several years of our active cooperation with colleagues in numerous countries. We intentionally fail to enumerate all associations we are a member of and only list those partners with which we cooperate intensively.
Andreas Ueltzhöffer is one of the founding members of this compliance network. The compliance team associates medium-sized law firms in Germany, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic. German law firm PF&P (www.pfp-legal.de) primarily focuses on cartel compliance and related fields, and assumes the representation of our clients at the European level. PF&P is one of the few medium-sized law firms to have demonstrable achievements in that field even with great mandates. The cartel and compliance team around partner Prof. Dr. Kai-Thorsten Zwecker closely cooperates with our compliance team. (See the Compliance Expertise bookmark for details of our activities)
Our law firm is one of the founders of this international lawyer network. All of its members specialise in commercial law, with the sizes of their law firms being adapted to their respective market conditions. That said, while UK and US law firms have hundreds of lawyers, smaller jurisdictions tend to have members which are medium-sized law firms, as is the case of Ueltzhöffer Balada. Andreas Ueltzhöffer is currently a member of the Executive Board and, inter alia, is responsible for the expansion of the entire network. However, we aim to build networks in jurisdictions where actual demand for professional cooperation exists rather than cover an entire territory.

Lawyer Dr. David Kouba serves not only as a partner in our law firm but also as a partner of Berlin-based law firm Loh Rechtsanwälte. The establishment of this law firm was initiated by former partners who decided to set up on their own during the takeover of the law firm by a large American law firm. Dr. Kouba was born in the Czech Republic and grew up in a bilingual environment. Before starting to work as a lawyer in a large law firm in Prague, he served as a judge in Germany. Led by partner, Dr. Kouba, Loh Rechtsanwälte has a team of Czech lawyers and primarily provides its services to Czech clients entering the German market.
Banse & Pucknus is based in Munich and, along with Ueltzhöffer Balada, leads a law firm in Prague which specialises in trademark and patent law. As concerns intellectual property rights, we provide our clients in Prague with legal services in Czech while we cooperate with our colleagues in Munich if dealings with the European Patent Office (EPO) or similar institutions at the European level are required.
